First off, I had to get four sets of 14ga speaker wire from the headunit to my amp location, under the passenger seat:

These wires I ran are the line in wires for the LC7i, and the output wires from the amp to run the doors...

I used wire id numbers on both ends of the wires so I know whats what. Duh.

TBayRay, how easy was it to get those doors off? Do you need a special tool to remove them?

    No tool needed.
The doors pop off real easy.
Start with pushing in the little pin on the plastic rivet lookin thing.
Then start at the bottom, pulling straight off...

Is there a wiring harness that can be plugged in instead of cutting/crimping new wires? Not real excited about cutting into factory wiring.

you can get the female and male wiring harnesses. I've heard these work still on the 2016, though the orange wire (dimmer line) is not in one of them, which you'll need to address. Easiest way would be to find an unused wire in the harness (probably the blue, which is historically used for telling powered antennas to turn on, which this truck doesnt have) and put it in place to connect the orange line to the factory harness.

You can use these two as a jumper between the factory harness and the radio, so you can cut into your jumper harness without cutting into factory lines.
