Claremont Craft Ales is popular and has plenty of parking on weekends. I'd meet you there, but I'll be in Anza Borrego for some solo (as usual) camping/wheeling.

Sounds fun! You know there is an Anza trip coming up at the end of feb. right. Also I was wondering if you could take pics of your rear platform. Especially how you did the trap doors. If not I will have to make it out your way soon. Its just that things have been hectic for me recently. So I haven't really had much free time.

Even though I've made a ton of progress on the truck I haven't been recording much lol. The last thing I need to do before registering it is finishing up the exhaust. Here's part 1 of the build.

Thinking of switching my 2 bolt flange out to v band under the truck. My motor shakes like a wet dog. Seems like v band takes the vibration better

definitely recommend them. also a lot easier to get on and off lol i'll be adding the flexpipe in the exhaust to help with vibrations.

I have a vibrant v band around my turbo housing and that has been working great, but I can't get the down pipe and main exhaust to stay together. The exhaust flange bolts rattle out unless I safety wire it.

yeah get another vband and throw in a small flex pipe either in the down pipe or the exhaust. i had one in my old down pipe and never had any issues.

Edit: here's a pic of it.

Dont try and go creeper style slow. The faster you go the easier it is to move the board around. Do you already have a board? Dont go with one that is the same size as you. Go for a smaller one. Not to small though. This well also make it less awkward when going down the hill and getting off the chairlift.
Remeber carry your momentum and a little speed and you will be ok. The hardist thing for me was getting used to my feet being locked in. But you learn how to deal with this in a short time.
