When you go with a whole new bumper system and Baja look then I can see the allure and the grill takes on a whole new meaning and look but to just put the grill on a stock truck images_9ce74c6259c8994fc48fb2064c73eb963497780e.jpg

Here is a spoiler... its a 2016 vehicle purchased in early january... so its a little unrealistic to expect anyone to have a baja race 3rd gen... that being said in the next 6 months its going to be transformed with countless products that arent even available for purchase yet and this just happened to be one of our first few mods we figured we would share... just like we likely will share all the other mods coming... so in the meantime try to fight the urge to post the first thing that comes to your head... lol

There are plenty of grille posts that are geared to gather style opinions... this wasnt one of them... this was simply to show people how to remove the stock grille and install this specific product...

Sorry, the way it came across is that you are promoting that fugly grill over the OEM TRD Sport grill which you call lame. Some of us like the original grill and it would take something really special to replace it which the one in this thread is not. You know chicken wire works too!

Hunter, thanks for the concern. OP opens himself up when the first words out are "how to replace the lame grill". Mutual respect is understanding that some of us like the grill. Would have been much better by saying "for those that don't like the grill". We are proud taco owners so when someone calls the ole lady ugly....well, them's fighting words!!!

No he just has way too much time on his hands and likes everything chromed out =p

and another news flash there has been countless polls done on this forum and others and the greater majority doesnt like the stock grille... and even less like CHROME lol so us changing the grille shouldn't hurt your feelings very much... and mutual respect is writing a post geared to those who are looking to replace the grille... not those excited about keeping it lol... so you have no right to be upset when the purpose of this post was literally written for those looking to replace the grille... (not you or anyone looking to keep it)

Had i went to your posts and trolled you about how terrible chrome looks THEN you can take it personal ;)

Hey remember when you got your panties in a bunch and said the below quote

    and we responded with

"Here is a spoiler... its a 2016 vehicle purchased in early january... so its a little unrealistic to expect anyone to have a baja race 3rd gen... that being said in the next 6 months its going to be transformed with countless products that arent even available for purchase yet and this just happened to be one of our first few mods we figured we would share... just like we likely will share all the other mods coming... so in the meantime try to fight the urge to post the first thing that comes to your head... lol"

    .......................................

This what the vehicle looks like just a few months later... and as you can see the stock chrome grille has no place on this rig... but sorry we hurt your feelings by doing the grille as one of our first mods... SMH

Thanks for the reminder.... My panties got bunched up because you said "replace the LAME grille". But now that the rig is finished I wont say its a great way to replace your sexual inadequacy!

All kidding aside.. It's an awesome looking rig! I really like the new bumper system. The Quicksand is a great color to reflect the outdoor ruggedness. Good job!!!!

Haha! Good one sir! Well no hard feelings of course i'm glad you liked the direction we went with the rig overall... it was always the plan the whole time so its nice finally seeing it all come together! @C4 Fabrication did the front bumper, rear bumper, bed racks and slider fabrication and they really knocked it out of the park in so many ways. Now were working on getting a leer topper perhaps with matching roof rack and then hopefully some drawer systems in the bed of the truck but we will see... gotta let funds recoup =p
