    (totaled) 2011 Tacoma DC
    definitely not an electrician so this one took me a little bit longer than most. fishing the wires wasn't bad at all. ended up frying the two fuses
    because I failed to follow his directions on the switch lol. but quick trip to auto zone and was back in business in no time. I mounted the switch on the side of the bed up near the rail because that is what works best for me. I keep a tonneau cover on it most of the time other than the occasional house project. don't own a dremel and my neighbor lost his so I had to do some finagling with a spade bit, wood chisel, and a file to widen the switch hole for it to fit but it ended up working out.

    when running into the issues and some clarity on the instructions, seller was a quick PM away and responded QUICKLY. Thanks @tacodane for the help and @Unchained 5150 for the TWSS gift!

    Here is mine. Dane's kit is really worth the money. Very professionally thought off and very easy to install. Had a little hiccup but Dane's customer support was second to none. The LEDs are super bright but not blinding and looks gorgeous at night. My pic does not do it justice taken by my phone on a rainy night. Had to be seen to believe. I am really glad I got this kit. One of my cousin saw my kit and wanted one. Dane, can this kit fit an FJ? Still needs to install my bed kit. Thanks Dane, for a very nice product. Godspeed. IMG_0894.jpg

    Finally got my kit installed, very happy with the results from it. Not the best pictures but its all my phone can get. I ended up running one of the strips through my toolbox which turned out to be a great idea. This was a super easy install and is a very effective mod. Worth every penny, thanks Tacodane!

    So if your have your some light in the "off" position...the rocker panel light will not turn on right?sometimes I need to be incognito.lol.of course I'm talking if I wired it just like you did

    If you have the rocker lights wired in with the dome light dimmer ground, it will not turn off with the dome light switch. It will always come on when you openthe door. You would have to wire in a switch to cut off either the 12v or cut off the ground. I used a 3 position switch to be either always on, off, or on with dome. My switch cuts the ground or always grounded, or grounded to the dimmer.
