The sunset last night was absolutely gorgeous. I ran from work to the beach and wish I had brought a camera. And then there was the rocket launch....

NOT trying to start a debate or argument, just wanted to provide some other information I came across that clarifies what the EPA is trying to do, nothing more.
It looks like its a little more complicated than "the EPA wants to ban race cars" and seems to reaffirm existing laws.

BTW might I add that I went and signed the petition

Interesting. Makes me still wonder what this would lead to if it gets passed...

They've been trying to pass laws on modification of vehicles for years. They have been unsuccessful so far for the most part.

A lot of people, myself included, think that the one of the steps after performance mods would be to ban exterior mods. Like all of our off road armor and what not. I'm pretty sure they are already illegal though just nobody cares.

@logcabinwc is right though. It's way more complicated. Otherwise, the CAI on my 4Runner that can barely get enough speed on a freeway onramp is a racecar by those definitions.

with that suspension, you might actually be able to handle part of it!

has anybody here had any issues with their horn suddenly not working? I was reading on TW here that it could be something to do with the steering wheel and spiral cable. Sounds like something beyond my abilities. It did stop working shortly after I did the bed/hood LED kit mod by MattGecko. Could it be something as simple as a fuse issue? Thanks in advance...crossing my fingers it's something easy

In for some info on this too. As mine randomly went out after one of my last trips. Don't really know though cause I never use it. So I haven't even tried looking into yet....maybe I'll mess with it this weekend though...

My 03' stopped working as did the cruise controls which were on the steering wheel. Happened after column was pulled to weld crush sleeve.

I would check the fuses first, if not that it sounds like the "clock"spring or spiral as you called it.

No lights are on in my dash and everything but the horn works. Ill check all the fuses tomorrow but I doubt there is a fuse JUST for the horn :notsure: I would think something else would be out as well!
