2nd Gen 4x4 35s 3" Lift w/o BODY LIFT

Oh no lol I might do the front lift and run the 35s for a day or so before the Chevy swap is done but not 35s stock. Poor girl would get all torn up

 

Dude you better not drive that, if you hit the slightest bump you are not only going to rip the flare off but in all likely hood the tire will catch the bedside and fold it in

 

Yes, I gave up a tiny bit of camber to get the most caster i could. I've been keeping a close eye on how my tires wear and they are just fine and dandy.

Pulled off the flares in the snow just to see. I think i have enough clearance for the little driving i will do with it before cutting/suspension install. Theres at least 3/4 to an inch of space on the front side

lol. i know youre looking at for me and i appreciate it. but i think for the highway drive home itll be alright. literally jump on the highway and drive for four hours.

hopefully you like at least one thing out of these. Lights are for the flat bed going on it. The McNeil fenders (the ones that have the OEM flare look) are being shipped currently. So pretty much a full rebuild of the taco front and rear lol. Trucks currently getting 4.88s installed right now as well. You gotta be a little proud!

 

I know this thread is technically for guys not using a body lift but I've seen a few that have it anyways... Does a 1 inch body lift really make that much of a difference? Only ask cause I am eyeing up a pelfreybuilt hybrid bumper for my truck while they have 10% off and want have it built for 1 inch body lift if it's really worth it

 

Its an extra inch of clearance. Its going to help quite a bit, youll still have to cut/bash though.

And from what @Palehorse1 has told me, pelfrey is too busy with work to worry about customizing a bumper to accommodate for body lifts

 

That's what I figured more so was looking for that little extra to help with clearance but wasn't sure if it really made that much difference... Dang hopefully he could otherwise that might be a deal breaker

 

Not hard to make the bumper fit a 1" body lift truck with a drill bit and an angle grinder.

 

Figured that it is far more involved then that when it comes to a "off-road" bumper... From pictures it looks like most key off the lower core/frame section of the frame where the factory tow hooks are

 

Forgive me for not looking through all 300 pages lol, but for those of you with 35s and that have re-geared, what's your gas milage like? I don't care too much about gas milage, but definitely wouldn't really consider going to 35s if it would be horrendous lol. Thanks!
