I went to high school with the fleet maintenance manager.
You will like the equipment, usually less than 5 years old, well maintained and CLEAN, as well as a good looking fleet ( TMC = Too Much Chrome)
New trucks added to fleet all the time.
You will learn how to tarp a load ( TMC = Tarp My Cargo)

    Enjoy !!

Had several offers to do dry van but not interested. Want to do flatbed and TMC seems like the best option. I'm cool with tarping.. that'll be my workout for the day  even if it is -10 degrees and windy as hell.

I see TMC trucks all the time, a lot of my customers get their raw product delivered by and finished goods shipped out on TMC

I think you'll be good, there is a mini TMC terminal near here somewhere as well

Yeah.. there is one down in Columbia. I've only heard good things about them so I'm pretty stoked to start this new adventure.

Driving lights, who's got what and what's worth a damn.
Not looking for "light diffusers" like the OEM stuff, just filling I. Below the main beam I'm talking DAY LIGHT AT 3am kinda light. Wife has a new gig starting in a few weeks, she'll be driving at night/early morning.
Probably gonna need a Roo bar also to fend off the weed rats that like to dart into oncoming vehicles.

    LED stuff ?
I've had HELLA 550s on my old Runner, they were pretty decent, used them as headlights many times.
I haven't messed with the new LED yet, most of what I see being used is more glare than focused light pattern

you are correct, they do not shine as far as hellas, but for me they shine far enough and I wear bi-focals.. They do light up the side of the road better than hellas..

I just got done putting this mess back in. Next up a trip to ECGS to see why so much oil is coming out through the locker air line.

Mine took a dip once. Put it in a bowl of rice for a few hours. Mine worked after but it's got some "quirks" now
