I think the only problem will be tightening down the bolt without having any way preventing it from spinning while tightening, and if it gets corroded your only option to remove the flare will be ripping it off if you can't undo the bolt

i think thats why I planned on doing the opposite so I could hold the threads with pliers while I break the nut loose. But would require more more work than his idea

For the rear, I could use the stock bracket to bolt to because I don't have cut bedsides for a HC bumper.

Front of rear flare, I just drilled and bolted through the bottom:

And rear of front flare, I also just drilled and bolted through the bottom.

As long as you drill your hole from the bottom, vertically, you can't see where you fasten it.

I just want a big shop so i van buy more toys, haha]
Yea this is what i was thinking. Didnt think about if i ever have to get the flare off again though..but really if i cut enough out now there wont be a reason to ever pull it back off. Idk so many options to do.

You'll always be able to trim with it on, but in the off chance you decide to take them off you may be ripping them off. Any update how much longer you'll be around?

True, in which case theres probably a good reason i want them off.

Thats a negative. Whats funny is our project manager isnt even here this week. Just myself and one other guy doing 12 hr shifts to make the 24 hr coverage. I probably wont know till saturday like all the past times.

Im not opposed. Itd let me actually cut my rear bedsides. I was going to try to use the bed outlet while here at the hotel and hope my jigsaw pulls less than 3 amps on a low speed :anonymous:

Wish i had my suspension with me

Yup I can run my older dremel (low/high speed one) and my grinder, my never dremel that has a bunch of speed adjustments will kick the switch after a min of running. Anything less than 3amps

If i am staying longer itd be nice if i could. Id have to make a drive home right after work though.
    400W/120V = 3.333A

So not much. My jigsaw is rated at 4.5, but that is probably the max it uses.
That it is. If theres another week i could be pretty close to a hc
