    Lots.
For those of you with limiting straps... How do you measure the length required and where do you mount them?

    EDIT: LOOK AT POST #39!

Need some of ya'lls thoughts on gears! Have 285/75/17 (34) tires. Full steel skids and sliders will be adding pelfrey hybrid front and HC rear with tire gate and a topper half of the year. This is my daily, with a couple weekend offroad trips a month. Would you guys go 4.10 or 4.56?

The general consensus for automatics is 4:56 for 35s. Since you are just shy of a 35 it would probably be the best choice.

I have the same tire, I didn't regear though.

Hmmm if you didn't regear maybe I should wait and drive it more and see how she feels! But seems like 4.56 would be best.

The only time I really notice it is when leaving town and heading up to Rim Country. At that point I keep the truck from shifting into OD by dropping 3rd or 4th depending on speed limits. I've ran this size tire years on 2 builds.

I'm actually currently by Glendale well more deer valley for a bmx race this weekend. It's super flat here compared to home. So with hills in mind and lots of them would you want to regear?

Yea in town I don't feel anything but as soon as I climb out of the valley. I say drive it and see man. If you can swap a 3rd member on your own you can save some cash for front and rear regear.

I've been calling them Fuck Trophies for quite some time. Glad to see someone else is as vulgar as I am. :D

Hey @LTDSC If you want to get a good measure of how much shaft is actually being used at full stuff, you should have a built in rubber bump stopper at the bottom of the shock shaft. Raise it up all the way to the top of the shaft til the shock body interferes with any further upward movement and go run it. Based on where your bump stop ends up, that will tell you how much travel on the shaft you are actually using.

I swapped my clamshell and third in the dirt at camp for my first time. It was not a super easy task but I'm sure you can do it. Just put it back together the way it was when you started and it'll be fine!

This is like 99% how I learned to work on most shit. Just take it apart to figure it out, and then put it back together backwards. Once or twice and I've usually got it down pat.
