Thinking about swapping out the fog light bezels and running a Rigid fog light / hyperspot combo

It could be just at 40k, remember its basically a DBOR Short bed with half the premium tech package and upgraded suspension + Leather.

Wouldn't buy it - I like my truck much better, happy with how it came out...although I do like the grill and skid plate.

Some dude (Andy Bell) shows off the truck, interviews Mike Sweers, answers some chat questions. Starts off pretty groan worthy as interview man talks to the show girls and they give canned responses about what they like about the truck. It gets a little better from there.

Interview man does not know what a coilover is. Is overly impressed by a skidplate.
Sweers admits that TRD pro badging does NOT improve performance of truck.
    NOT made in China.

Did anyone confirm no sunroof for sure on the Pro? That could save a bunch of cost which is rolled into other items.

Interesting, they upgraded the fog lights, but couldn't throw in some HID's for the low beams.

This is funny, Most hated the 16 when it came out because (butt hurt) and grill sticks out so far. Toyota comes out with the pro grill sticks out even further and everybody want one. LOL

Exactly, top of the line new ZR2 or trail edition Colorado is $42-43k, guarantee the pro will be over $40k, the 15 pros were $38-39k.

So for some us, an extra $40 per month? Not bad deal considering the package. Just wish they had a long bed version.

Dude, just like other pro's you can take an off road model and add way better parts that would put a pro to shame for less.

I am pretty sure the butt hurt-ness wasn't about the grill sticking out, it's the the grill is garish & "sticks out" visually...like a cheese grater. That and the underbite were the comments I saw. Nothing about the emblem/grill sticking out in front of the hoodline until your post...

Excellent comparison. Trd pro grill sticks out definitely too far, hood's already long enough. Liking my my SR grill even more now. Got it for $350 without install.

True, the same can be said of the TRD Off Road, take a Sport model and add the upgrades. If your leasing and just want a turn key solution, the TRD Off-Road is just fine, but if you want that extra lift and more advanced suspension the TRD Pro is the way to go.

Minus the whole crawl control, locking diff, etc. To each their own and awesome trucks they all are, but $40k for a tacoma is ridiculous.

Yea but it's still funny, that new grill looks like around 4" at the top?
