Hey, I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has had this issue. I disengage the parking brake, start moving all is well. During driving though, it will kind of wiggle loose and the light will come on in the dash and I'll have to push it back in so the light on the dash will go back off. It's been adjusted by my mechanic but its almost like whatever used to hold it in place in the assembly has worn down maybe? Should I grease it a bit? or look at anything specific?

I'm lucky because this is the only issue really bothering me right now except for some rust I'm gonna knock out with POR-15 soon.

Mine has been doing the same thing these last couple days. Pissing me off. Maybe something underneath the frame causing it.

I did notice that was loose underneath the truck when I was changing the fuel filter...I'll have to tighten mine up and see what happens.

There is a spring at the intermediate lever .Where the front and rear cables meet

That spring needs some tender loving lube from time to time.
That spring tensions the return of the handle.

Correct although you really can`t see the spring As it is above the bracket or should be
