    Afternoon all: :spy:
Sorry to hear your dad took a spill Dave, be thankful nothing worse came out of that.

You need a shot of blackberry brandy Mike. I don't drink either, but when I get a head cold I sometimes resort to that. For some reason it seems to help, why; I don't know, but it seems to work better than cough medicine.

Maybe it's the same idea as drinking screwdrivers if you have a cold...you get the benefits of the Orange Juice, and after 2 or 3 of them, you really DON'T care that you have a cold!

Hooked up with Gliderpilot today for the first semi-official Central Texas Tacoma 60+ year old thread lunch!
Hamburgers at the Andice Texas General Store.
Turns out he and I have a friend in common, and a lot of background in common as well, both served in the Navy back in the day.
Not quite the days of wooden ships and iron men, but still back in the day.

    Morning all . TGIF.

Glad you guys had a good time Andrew. Both having a friend in common shows just how small the world really is. I'll be heading down to the Commerce Texas area sometime in the fall (no plans made yet) to visit with friends. She was in high school with the wife and he was in the Navy with me. We had some really good times when we were together in those days. We have kept in touch over the years and now with the missus retiring in April we'll have the time to get together .

    Have a good day all.

And a most enjoyable meal it was. Next one is on me, Andrew.

Folks, this a very knowledgeable gentleman .... the kind of guy you would like for a neighbor.

I'll have to bring the wife next time.

    Evening all:
Supposed to be below 0 tomorrow morning, BURRRR! Wasn't it around 60 deg. just a couple weeks ago, crazy weather!
Welcome 1buzzbait: if you're close pull up a chair, Mike likes Bass fishing, I like Walleye fishing. Almost anything is open for conversation, we even learn something sometime! ;)

Good to hear that Mike and Andrew got together for a chat.

We are at 12 right now and very windy. Supposed to continue to drop through the day and below zero by mid-afternoon. -6 is the predicted low so we will most likely be closer to -10 in the morning. Just another beautiful northeast PA evening. :)

Our moose-ometer showed minus numbers earlier this week. I thought this morning was supposed to be another one but it looks like the weather geniuses  moved it to tomorrow. On the plus side the heat tape I installed in the gutter seems to be doing a fine job; no icicles whatsoever!

Oh and cheech, 60 degrees, brrrr! I hope everyone is okay!!! :luvya:
