I'm guessing that wording is a CYA...just in case someone has springs that are somehow fine or show very little wear....that way they are not obligating themselves to replace every single set of leaf springs...

Fuck that! I will tell them about the travel trailer I am buying and if my springs break and something happens while i'm towing....especially to my kids.....all hell will unleash from me.

Mine are going to get done.

Great. I'm in phase 11 so that means if I still have it in 2020 they *may* replace them. Total, utter BS. Good thing my next vehicle won't be a Toyota.

There is no way they can get away with replacing just the left side....wear items like springs and shocks get replaced in pairs.

    Ok...Update..

I dropped it off first thing today to get it done and when they are going over what is scheduled for today the guy says "Leaf packs? I don't think we have any of those in..."
and I was quite miffed...I told him that's the only reason I came in....I didn't care about the catalytic recall because mine was replaces 20K ago...

He apologized and said he would take a look and see if they are here but they have been waiting for 2 weeks for them and they were still not here so don't get my hopes up...

    UGGGH...

BUT! They just called and the truck with the packs arrived today and he said they are replacing them.
    Here is what he shared..
    1. 4 packs!
    2. Both sides!
    3. 8 clamps!

what I had before could best be described as a flaccid 2 1/2 pack...
    I'll post pics tonight.

When I go in, I'm taking my AAL out of the back. That way they can see my nice non-TSB springs frowning.

    I wonder what this means?

    1. Vehicles that have had the leaf springs replaced under goodwill during the interim phase.

Replaced by Toyota because their were in bad shape or replaced by private party because of any number of reasons?

I would think it is those trucks that actually had a failure/break and had them replaced prior the remedy roll out.

What they should do is offer a check for the price of the parts for people who would rather go with aftermarket. Then they could completely write off that vehicle for any future spring recalls/TSBs.

They won't do that. It is still their liability even if they send you a check I would think. Plus they don't want that news of broken springs for those who decided theirs 'looked ok' and cashed the check. Even thought they should technically be off the hook because they took steps to correct the problem.

Ok here they are... the part numbers from the invoice are
1 04005-34304 SPRING KIT, RR LEAF
1 04005-34104 FITTING KIT, RR LEAF
There is an increase of 3/4" lift from the top of the tire to the wheel well (same amount of gas) and the truck fees so SOLID now. Before it had a bumpy buggy sway and now it feels so great.
    Pcs...
I uploaded all of them to an album...

ps. I know I need new tires but I am trying to make it passed 1 more inspection and ride out the summer...

They are starting north to south states. I'm guessing due to the higher corrison possibility.

It appears if I'm lucky I could have new leaf springs by Memorial Day.
