    March 12th, 2016

    Back by popular demand!

North Alabama Mod Meet and Greet! Current scheduled date is March 12th, 2016. Location will be at my house in SouthEast Huntsville very close to McGucken Park on Bailey Cove rd. I have hosted quite a few meets before and hope we can have a great turnout. I will contact confirmed participants with my actual address prior to the meet.

Weather for this time of the year can mean we are all in t-shirts or huddled up around a propane burner with our collars turned up. Roll of the dices for that. I can get a DCLB in my garage and work on it, so we are at least covered if it is raining.

I will keep a list of confirmed and possible attendees on this first post along with possible work that we may do for a truck. For you guys just starting mods, the most popular mod is the rear differential breather mod. I have installed and uninstalled quite a few lifts also. The one thing I refuse to do is use the cheap spring compressors that you can get from the local part stores. I have a place to use a wall mounted spring compressor, but we need to arrange this outside of the mod meet time. I have a set of stock springs if needed while the front springs are done.

I have this marked on my calendar and right now I am a definite yes. But..... there are talks with work to send me across the country the weekend before that to the weekend after that so I guess you can say I am a definite maybe:frusty: (I should know a for sure answer next week:fingerscrossed:). I just recently purchased(still waiting for it to arrive) the 3" Toytec lift compatible for my T4R but that may take a little too long to install for a mod weekend so Brian I may be hollering at you again soon if you are willing and want to tackle that with me. I will still be willing and able to help any others with any mods. My specialty is definitely wiring and lights. Anyway, as soon as I know something I will post in here! here's to being able to make the trip, meeting some good new guys, and helping when and where I can!

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Can a jeep ford owner attend? And potentially a dude-bro kyle?

I will be making the drive from Birmingham as well. Trying to decide if I will drive up as early as possible or wait for @JKU3000 to finish with his test so we can make the drive together.

If I get the parts, i need to replace my right front wheel bearing. If that would be a doable repairI might be in. I'll know more as it gets closer.

Easily doable. I have a puller that makes it pretty easy.

I'm pretty new to the mod world, so I'm just interested in the diff breather mod. I definitely plan to be there on the 12th and look forward to meeting Tacoma people!

Paul, you going to bring the Jeep or Ford? I am upset you felt like you had to ask. I'll put both of you down.

I would like to wire a pod to my reverse lights for extra light when backing up. I could use some help on how to make it work with a switch and when in reverse.

Where do you recommend getting the fuel line from? The guy in the write up just used pressure tube from Lowe's. Just want to make sure I get something that can hold up.

Sounds like a call out to @BAMATOY

Oreilly's has a bit more of a selection on their website than autozone. The tubing from Lowe's should be fine also.

Happy Early Birthday. I am sure I will be busy most all that day and won't have the time to say it then. Your welcome to join if you can.
