Hi everyone. Thanks for reading. New to tacomaworld but have had my Tacoma for about 9 months. Im still just as much in love with it since the day i bought it. :)

2008 double cab TRD offroad 95,000 miles

    2.5" front above-coil spacer
    1.5" diff drop spacer
    1" swaybar relocation bracket
    1" rear block
(all of the above came with the leveling kit i bought off of Amazon for i think 180.00$. Supreme suspension kit.)

Cheapo intake from amazon. Its fairly decent quality and the filter is nice. It does the job.

    Gibson exhaust

Vision valor rims 17"x8.5" 4.47" back spacing and a 19mm offset. 265/70/17 goodyear wranglers. Think it equates to a 32.25" tire or something close to that.

Fixed the temp display problem most of them seem to have

Have a set of black tacoma badges. Just haven't put them on yet.

Huge crack in my windsheild that just recently happened. :(

Belts are squeaking. Think i need to do a serpentine belt and bearings for all the pullys. :(

Double platinum spark plugs and always run premium

Anyway, thanks for looking. Please let me know what ya think and anything you would do different. Still not even close to done. But getting there. :)

Is this for all 2nd Gens? I am new to my Tacoma as well and have not heard about this. How did you fix it?

There is a resistor that goes bad. It happened on the assembly line i think and one of the resistors didnt get soldered in correctly. I believe it does apply to all of the 2nd gens. If its not working, its most likely the resistor. I traded two bed rail clips for someone to do it for me. After having the display removed from the vehicle, it took him about 5 minutes to fix it. Seemed easy if you know how to solder.
