Couldn't say for sure the colour, I was riding shotgun and we passed him on the right. My memory says MGM but it was near dusk so it could have been green.

How would people think about a small Trail run or meet on March 19?

If it happens before that I wont be able to come as I am working in Alberta driving big rigs.

I think the best trail for Kelowna would be the Peachland to Summerland backroad. Last time I took my old 4runner alone it took me close to 4 hours but I also was playing with stock and fiddling around figuring a path out. Depending on what people are up for there are lots of little paths and stuff out in that country to flex and test the trucks a little without being too hardcore.
I haven't done too much in Kelowna itself as I normally ride out near vernon or more north. Even then I am trying for more technically trails all the time. Most of my drives end up being basic backroads lately.

December 25 last year i got into this predicament because I didn't have a good LSD or locker in my truck lol tacoma stuck.jpg

Don't think I've done peachland to summerland, that sounds interesting.

Why didn't you have a good LSD? Isn't your truck a sport?

They had a Electronic "LSD" which honestly didn't do much at all. I did notice when i punched the button once it was better for doing minor drifts but no two wheel drive.
Now I can do proper donuts on the spot without really trying lol. Big difference between the two.

ps. they went from Mechanical to electronic in 2011 I believe.. I Could be wrong on this as I haven't looked for a specific year.

So i went to the back entrance to the trail and there is easily a foot of snow on level exposed ground. The trail last time I took it had some steep cross sections so it might be prudent to wait for summer before taking that trail with others lol
Anyone else have an idea of where to go for people who just want to test out the rigs? I don't know if there is anything east of kelowna maybe?
I was thinking Knox mountain to meet up btw. I believe the bottom gate is open now and we should be able to go to the first large parking area with little resistance.

Havent posted on here in forever.... good to see people still here. Been out and about quiet a bit in last month and had some fun in the bushes. Lottsa snow still as you climb higher into the hills. The KVR from gillard to narmata is passable. King edwards lake towards Vernon was a fun adventure. Oyama lake and beaver lake have some decent trails that are passable. This past 2 weeks snows has been disappearing rapidly and i was even able to make it to the top of blue grouse which wasnt close to possible 2 weeks ago.

I will ask around. being an in bed unit compared to mine it will be stronger for people who want to mount some weight to it.
