Well I know what my problem is, just got to find time to get it done. Iv got all the parts in my shop to replace. I'm hoping next week if it isn't cold as balls outside. I'm installing a new driver side lean spacer, new uca's, LCA bushings, lower bj's, and tie rod ends. If that don't work then I may just drive it off a cliff. :D

I don't think it's the slip yoke since (like @Unchained 5150 ) I can feel it under my feet. The slip yoke is back near the rear window. Plus, the only thing I did to the rear was the axle shims and CB drop. And I still had the clunk when those went in. Then after the front was removed/reinstalled the clunk disappeared for a while. No changes to the rear.

    UPDATE (for me at least).

The driver's rear leaf front bolt (near the gas cap) was backing out to the point it was almost able to be turned by hand. I have NO clue how that occurred as I was meticulous with the torque wrench setting all the bolts. This solved my issue 100%.

OP. You may want to consider going over every bolt which ties to your suspension. Check the rear end first, the leaf spring retaining pins, then u bolts then the leaf spring fromt and rear eyelet mounts, after that for the front end, UCA/ LCA mounting bolts, spindle bolts to the actual control arms shock bolts. If that still doesn't remedy the issue check your crossmember by the T-case/ transmission for tightness. After that, spray some silicone spray or WD-40 on the bushings, one side at a time, one control arm at a time. If that still doesn't fix the issue, have the driveshaft checked, and or grease it yourself. You may also want to check your steering intermediate shaft to make sure it is doing ok. If it is stil there, you may have to just accept the fact that it will make noise. These Toyota suspensions are always kind of noisey for some reason and the noise issue dates back as far as th 95's and possibly even below.

Thanks guys. I've gone over all the bolts mentioned, but not all at once. Maybe that's what I need to do. Go back to front in one sweep and get every bolt mentioned.

I think it might be steering related because a while back I was parked in front of the house (in the street) and I turned the wheels (truck sitting completely still) and got this BAD clacking sound. It wasn't at full lock. Maybe one and a half full turns to the right, I'd go a quarter turn back and forth and "clack" every time I crossed "the point". Now I can't get it to do this again anywhere.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. It has to be something because it's the same driveway, same motion every time. I just need to suck it up and find a GoPro or a brave soul to lie under the truck while I back up.

Tightened LCA bolt after my most recent alignment today. Then I tried just turning the wheels back and forth parked in the garage, got it to pop. Found that "spot" where crossing over left to right, right to left would cause the clunk. Put my phone under the front, tried again...silent. UGGGHHHHH!

I'm gonna check my body mounts more closely. I got the idea from another thread.

Gonna try to find someone in town with a GoPro I could borrow, or who wants to help me out finding the source of this. If not, there's a camera shop I go to that rents them for $50/day or $75/weekend. Hard to get motivated about paying to find this thing...

Ok, I may have found the source of the clunking. In this diagram it's labeled as the "Front Drive Inboard Joint Assembly". Basically, the inboard end of the driver's side CV axle (drive shaft).

Here it is in context, if you don't already know where this is...

I get it on both sides so I don't know if that is what my clunking is. But glad you possibly found it.
