I know fitting 35s on tacomas seems to be a challenge, but thats not an issue. That something that can be fixed. As far as running 35s with lockers in the 8" IFS and the 8.4" rear goes how will the axles hold up? Gonna be doing lockers and regearing hopefully this summer and I realized I will need new tires soon, so in a way it's like the stars are aligning for 35s. Just dont want to be breaking CVs and axle shafts everytime 4wd is engaged.

Rear should be fine, with lockers.
Not sure about the front, if you install a non-selectable locker. Very hard on CV's.

never had an issue with the axle shaft, you will break the 3rd member before the axle breaks

I've not broken a CV yet, been on 36s and double transfer cases and locker front/rear for a couple years now. The OEM axle shafts are quite strong. If your stock CV boots end up ripping, don't replace them with a autozone chinese axle, buy the boot rebuild kit.
