    Going below zero tonight here. I was in New York City this morning and the local radio station said if it goes below 2 degrees there after midnight, the 14th, it will break a record that has stood since February 14th, 1916. Exactly 100 years. Just a bit of useless information!

    I'm nice and toasty right now. I have no plans to leave the house until it's time to go to work on Tuesday morning! Supposed to fall below zero tonight with wind chills in the minus 30's. Tuesdays forecast is for temps in the 50's and rain, Go figure. I have a co-worker with family in the Charlotte area. She got on a plane yesterday for a visit. Not sure how the temps will be this weekend.

    Got a call from my mom. My dad fell from a ladder trying to trim a tree. She was holding the ladder. He has a broken tibia, broken elbow, possible broken ribs. The limb kicked back and knocked him off.
