Offensive stickers and stuff the wife doesn't know about.
I am happy with my extang, sure a pinch of water gets in in a downpour, but I didn't expect it to be 100% water tight. The only complaint which has already been mentioned is that it does tend to take a good amount of force to pull down the handles to get it secured and to open the back of the cover but of course it can be remedied with some fine adjustment. I got mine off of autoaccessoriesgarage.com they had a 20% off sale and if you chat with them you can get even better, quick shipment and no issues. Just make sure you get the foam squares for the front bed bar, I know some people didn't get them with their cover, I think it was a supplemental add on or something.

@Scooter62 is right, those came with my Extang 2.0. They do the job and fill that gap well.

Can you point to the oem part on this? I haven't come across any oem part to fill that hole in. I'm inclined just to cut some closed cell polyethylene, and honestly if no rain gets in I'd just rather leave it to keep some small amount of ventilation.

After checking out the extang and bakflip, I decided to go with the Undercover Flex. Happy with the decision and the install was probably the easiest of all of them.

    Pretty much stock
I had a bakflip on my f150...loved it, and the fact it sits flush with the bed makes it look extra slick.

I could take it to the carwash and it wouldn't have but a few drips in the bed. Never got water in the bed with rain.

Just bought the Extang 2.0 here in Calgary locally for $999...pretty happy with that price! Pick up tomorrow...hope it has the extra seals everyone keeps talking about. If not, they said they would ensure Extang would ship them over.

I have not bought a cover yet but I went to Extang's web site and sent them a email. They sent me the header rail foam squares 2 day priority mail. I have them in my dresser drawer for whenever I do buy a cover I'll have them.

Just got the Extang 2.0…didn't come with the seals everyone has been recently posting about because they stocked it several months ago…but the dealer I bought it from said they will get them in for me.

After looking at your photos, I was able to convince myself its ok to have the brackers right at the end without the end caps…though it kind of bugs me lol.
On a side note, did you have any problems with the inside bracket anchors (which are screwed into) trying to squeeze out? I had to re-flush it several times so it was perfectly parallel.

I didn't have any issue with the brackets shifting, but probably because of the way I mounted it. I first set the cover on, then roughly positioned the brackets and then totally removed the cover and did a more careful placement of the brackets (measuring so that they were both the same distance from the end of the rail). Then tightened them down all the way (without "over" tightening, though since there are no measurements in the instructions in terms of torque, I just guessed and went by feel on that). Also, when mounting the brackets I pulled up on the bracket itself while tightening the bolts so that the bracket literally can't move up anymore.

I was a very concerned about not over tightening the actual screw down bracket (the plastic "wing nut" part) since the instructions have a serious warning about this. That might also be why I didn't have any bracket shifting... they are just tight enough to not shift around at all on the bracket.
