You should try one of the beautiful beaches in our neck of the woods. Very refreshing.

I went with the 5500, easy installation.
And I'm cheap. The 5400 is the electric lock version, right?
I didn't want to spend the extra $$ and mess with wiring.
I won't be in & out of the tailgate very much.

Edit: My mistake, the 5400 is the bolt code one, you can set the lock to match your ignition key.

Did not check output yet, but I'm sure it's not comparable to OEM.

I'm going for looks over function, never really liked oem version. They are definitely not "smoked" would say more like blacked out. Like the looks of them so far...

I am the manufacturer of these. Check the link in my signature. If I get enough interest I'll do a group buy for summer ship date!

Thanks man! It's an awesome edition to our trucks! On & off-road, it adds a ton of features over the other options in the market.

I've never really thought of doing that, but I looks so good I have to ask.... Cost? Time? Added features?

Thanks man! $445 for the dash piece. 4-6 week lead time depending on time of year and order quantity in production batch. Added features are limitless based on the apps available for iPads. Topographic / satellite terrain navi apps, real time navi via waze, any music source you want, any other media / video source your passengers want ;) and the list goes on. Best way to make your Tacoma a modern connected car with the highest quality display (retina) available.
