I was wondering if anyone has done this or knows how to put a dual climate system in a 2016 Tacoma without dual climate. Is this as simple as buying the display and knobs or would I have to buy a different module and re-wire the whole system?

I assume it would be a huge pain.

The whole vent system I believe is different. There would be more blend doors and motors not as easy as just buying the climate control module

You'd have to rip the dash out, and the parts would cost a fortune to change out. Bottom line, if you want something get it at time of purchase

Well I didn't want to pay for the tech package just for the dual climate. I was only curious if it was semi easy, it's not a deal breaker.

Look for another project because this isn't one worth tackling. It's funny that I've had dual climate in so many cars and 98% of the time, it's on 'sync' mode anyhow.

Adding heated seats is what I really want to do.

No clue about the OP, but it's not really the "dual" part of it that I wish I had. I just wish I had the automatic climate control. Got spoiled with my last car and now I get annoyed constantly adjusting temp and fan speed manually rather than just setting it at 70 and letting the computer handle it.
