You're the only Crossfitter that's put up with all our bullshit and stayed in this thread, so you've got my respect. Plus, you're literally the only Crossfitter I've ever seen with actual gains, so you must be doing something right.
I hope you've got thick skin lol

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I do CrossFit as well. But I also run, cycle, and when I have the time, triathlons.

I blame the running and cycling on beer. I'm on a cycling team for a brewery, and also part of a drinking club with a running problem.

The wife just did her first half marathon last weekend in Savannah, Ga. She's still recovering from it. Looks like a lot of fun

I'm more likely to do a cycle of roids than actual cycling lol

Week 1 of the Smolov squat cycle is in the books. It looks like this.
    Sunday- 6x6 @ 265
    Tuesday- 7x5 @ 285
    Wed- 8x4 @ 305
    Fri 10x3 @ 325
The weights this week were very manageable, but the extreme uptick in volume was fairly difficult to adjust to. I feel pretty good all things considered. Today starts week 2, which is just like last week but 10lbs heavier each day. I feel pretty confident that by the end I'll have some crossfitter gainz to show @zacharypaul89 :D. Off to church, then the gym. Happy lifting people.

Congrats to the wife. Hopefully she doesn't get into ultra marathons. Training for them sucks. Because marathon distances are still a training run and not end goal. :bananadead:

About to head to the gym. Figured this shirt was a nice touch for Valentine's Day.

It's becoming a tradition. She's gained a few lbs, but I love her anyway.

So I bought some c4 50x today, never really used pre workout before. So I took a scoop, waited a bit and headed to the gym. I started with squats and everything was all good, pre workout was kicking in and I was ready to go. First squat and it felt like someone just slammed 5 trillion needles into my face. Freaked me the fuck out, but didn't happen after that

That's the tingle. Nothing worse than popping your pre and feeling the tingle before you get to start lifting. That's like blowing your load while you put the condom on

I hope she doesn't. Her foot was really messed up after just the half marathon. She thought it was a stress fracture, but I think it was just a strain b/c the pain is going away slowly. Plus, she actually lifts and I don't want her to lose all dem booty gains.

I've tried that once and it worked really well. Shit had me going!

    What's a condom?

Ordered my Vans Sk8 Hi's yesterday. My legs are still sore as hell from Saturday's workout. They haven't been this sore in a while. Those new workouts definitely did the trick.

Also, this weekend was terrible for my dieting. Had Zaxby's Friday, had a work party Saturday night where I drank my weight in Bulliet and Coke, was hungover yesterday and had hibachi chicken, spicy tuna rolls, and California rolls for lunch and a philly cheese steak and fries for dinner.

I had Zaxby's Thursday night. The wife wanted Mexican on Friday night so we got take out and they messed up and gave me the wrong bag when I went and picked it up. Ran back up there and they gave me my correct order and let me take the other order too so we ended up having that last night. Her parents brought pizza over Saturday night. Oh...and we went to a brunch buffet yesterday for v-day. I gained 4lbs since Thursday and it went straight to my gut. Just spent the weekend uncomfortable toting around a food baby.

Think I'm gonna deload this week. Thought about not squatting at all, but I might just do 135 for 5 sets of 10-15 or so. Tonight is legs, so we'll see. Gonna focus on isolation movements and getting a good squeeze. My joints have been telling me to lighten up over the last couple weeks, so I'm not gonna do a heavy day this week.

    Getting old sucks
