I thought that was an ignition/door key in the fob. You only get one tailgate key and it is separate.

Normal. It even says it in the manual. There have been multiple threads on it. If you don't want to browse the manual, check out the sticky thread that says read this first before you post. Has about everything it it that has been discussed since day 1. Make a duplicate of the key before you loose it.

Yeah, the salesman told me the long floating key is for the tailgate, it's a "common" key, so you should be able to get it made anywhere. The key in the fob locks the glovebox. You should also have a silver/metal tab with a series of numbers on it that you should keep in a safe place. This is used to help you get a new fob programmed specifically for your truck.
