Finished the stickers (for now). Went to get it balanced and rotated. Ive had bald tires for about a year now.... so i ended up buying new tires. Unfortunately they weren't my first choice, but they are functional and I do think they look good on my truck. I didn't like them at all when i saw them in the shop but now that I'm seeing them on grass they look pretty good.

Yesterday we attached a couple lights on the front end. Name brand is Nilight, one is a spot and one is a flood light. We soldered the wires and attached a relay. I almost cried cutting a small hole in the bottom of the dash for the switch. They look good though, especially at night! They are bright. D-Rings went on last night as well as Brandon painting a couple accents on my truck. He's so wonderful. ;)

Nice little 1st gen you have there! I like the bed side stickers. Some sliders to set off the looks instead of those tube steps, they would be much tighter to the body than the tubes and they would match your front bumper really good too. Don't go too crazy with the coatings on them either. Some Rustoleum primer and Duplicolor bed coating is a great combination that you can do yourself and can be touched up easily and is very easy to find.
Good luck with your truck and keep up the good work!

Thank you! Not sure if you read the first few posts, it's definitely a project truck. Sliders are coming as soon as I can line the bed. It's still a pavement princess which I hate but I have a few more things to do. Thank you for reading! Makes me feel good to know people like what I'm doing to it.

Yeah I read most of the 1st page that's all. Great job keeping it alive and fixing it back up. I was just thinking with that front bumper those tubes look a little out of place. Plus with some sliders on there you can get out to some more remote places to go kayaking. Lol

Yeah i agree with mach1man, ditch those "nerf bars" for some real sliders. I saw earlier you mentioned being worried about your truck looking squatty or lower er something to that effect if getting sliders. In fact itll help with that! Those nerf's are much bulkier and hang alot lower than some good solid sliders would!

Wise man....i like white tacomas, have one myself! Cant beat the white all trimmed out with black and all black accessories! My other taco is the sunfire red pearl all trimmed out black too. I saw there was talk about plasti dip several posts back. You should really do that to your badges, bkack them puppies out too. Ive done it to both my trucks and it looks sweet and has held up for quite some time now, even going through the brush it hasent blemished it at all. Yours are already black but i did my door handles too and the chrome on the grille. I hate chrome!!
