This is my first, but my dad leased two 4 cylinder access cabs years ago, and my brother worked at a Toyota dealership for a couple years.

I too have experience with two Corvettes, There definitely is a "Corvette Tax"

Oil pan gasket was $800 to replace, Fuel pump almost $2,000. I wouldn't mind the "Tax" IF I had available a specialized Corvette shop close.

So the dealer has to do everything and GM service here is TERRIBLE..... Since I love roadsters I decided to give the Mazda Miata a chance. So far so good. I am too OCD with the Vette.

Owned a 03 DCOR back in 06, loved it! Was going to get a brand new DCOR in 2010 but didn't care as much for them and went with a frontier instead. Now possibly looking to get a 3rd gen in a few months

I've had two Hilux's, three Tacomas, three 4Runners, a FJC, a Tundra and a Prius C. Right now still sporting the Tundra but traded the last 4Runner for a 2016 STi

    On my fifth. :)
My first was a 1974 landcruiser(jeep style). My current is a 2012 4Runner. I've had 3 pickups in between. All 5 bought new and they seemingly run forever with only minimal problems and that's the reason I keep coming back.
For 35 years in my job I have driven countless GM, Ford and Dodge trucks and they always, always have stupid issues that should never happen on a properly made vehicle. I would never even consider a different manufacturer with the successful track record Toyota has given me.

It's a great poll, but it would be interesting if you had put a none option to see how many people have never had one are on here. I'm sure I'm not the only one haha :D

Lol I wouldn't know any of the polls on here. I just randomly saw this when I searched 4runner trying to get on the 4runner bs thread.

im not so sure this poll is accurate. I think a few are voting for how many Toyota's they've owned. Not Tacoma's

    Earth, I think.
    Vehicle:
    2016 MGM 4x4 Limited, 2001 Black 4x4 SR5 Doublecab
NRA Life Member Sticker, Body Armor 4x4 Step Rail, Leer Trilogy Bed Cover
    Currently own 2001 4x4 SR5 Doublecab with 145,000 miles, 2012 4x4 SR5 4Runner with 45,000 miles, 2016 4x4 Doublecab Limited with 1,100 miles.

Although I really like and have owned four Jeeps (CJ7, CJ8, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee), I got tired of paying for replacement parts once Dodge started building them. Only part I've replaced on a Toyota was one alternator on Solara Convertible with 111,000 miles. So I have over 300,000 miles on Toyotas with 1 part failure. On Dodge products it was 1 part failure every 5,000-10,000 miles.

Technically this is my first Tacoma although my wife had one when we met. She ended up getting a new car and I had a S2000 at the time so the Tacoma became my daily for a while. It was a 2001 DCOR 2wd
