Why do people get this mad over a phone? Now that, is a first world problem.

Personally, I've switched from iPhone, to Samsung, and back to iPhone. I thought I'd try androids but the customer service is 100x worse. Apple has always been good to me. I guess just do whatever works for you, but man, if you're going to nitpick everything while being ignorant, then I think you're gonna have a really hard time with.... Everything in life.

I don't need to argue, there's nothing to argue about. People keep arguing against my Opinions:thumbsup: I just find humor in people getting so worked up over something so stupid. Some people like IOS, some people like android, some people like droid. You get what suites yourself.:p

Yet another person looking to argue with my opinions. Lol. It's an "opinion" buddy, I'm entitled to it.

Wow, maybe I should be glad I live in a place with no cell coverage, and have to drive a good 20 or more miles to town to get a signal on my old Nokia flip phone.

I had an iPhone 4 for a year and a half, (which they've discontinued btw) kept a case on it ever since I got it and it had minor scrapes on the corners when I gave it to my friend for my iPhone 5s I have currently. And even though my 5 was in used 'mint condition' from Mexico (water damage, sensors glitchy in on spot on the screen) I've had it rolling for 2 years now, maybe 2 and a half now I dunno.

It sucks you had a shitty experience with Apple. And they're greedy mofos (iTunes is a joke) but give them credit, cmon man

And we just replaced my parents 2.5 year old iPhone 4's with no issue. Just ran out of space and needed a larger storage phone.

    They are still mint.

Never saw a cell phone until I was 35, never had one until I was 40. What would all of you do if, OMFG, we had no cell phones. I personally think about 55% of the population in the US would actually cry them selfs to death. They actually can't function without it. Wish the fuckers never came out, driving would be safe again.

It's usually the fuckers who don't know how to work a phone, cry like a bitch about it, then smash it like a forth grader, expecting people to be able to relate with that bullshit, that are the 55%. You don't like cell phones, take yours and donate it to charity. Bet you don't. Dam, tacoma world, more like cry like bitch world.

    Depends on the day.

I see all these replies after getting an alert about this thread several months later. I think most people are missing the point. I know my way around all kinds of tech, I used to fix MS-DOS and original Windows computers back in the day. "Not being tech savvy" has nothing to do with it. You did watch the video, right? Even after all the BS with restoring the phone back to factory specs & yada yada like they said, still unusable. I tried on multiple occasions through different channels, got denied at every stop. My time spent chasing them and frustration were superseding the value of a new phone, so I smashed it.

I'm not getting "mad over a phone." I won't take being lied to, stolen from, or scammed. I've argued my way into thousands of dollars worth of products and services that I deserved; that most people would have just accepted defeat and taken the hit for. It's the principle... The principle that a consumer spends $600 of his hard earned money on a product that was promised to be of good quality, and in working order. It turns out it wasn't. The legal transaction, binded by contract of the law is now nullified. They got their money, I didn't get my product. I as the consumer am entitled to replacement or reimbursement, by law. Even though the product was well within warranty and in perfect condition, Apple told me, and 3 other poor bastards I overheard to go fly a kite.
So, Oz; would you be a little upset if you bought an exhaust kit from a "reputable" company, and when you received it, it had a hole in it. The company tells you "You probably ruined it, you're on your own bud." You'd just take the $800 hit? It's all kinds of wrong. The consumer has more rights than most people know. I got ripped off, lied to, and stolen from. 9 times out of 10 I get my way; but Apple truly doesn't give a fuck about their customers. I'm sure you all wouldn't just bend over and accept being ripped off either. 'Nuff said.
