General Grabber Red Letters

grabbers baby! did some mild testing at king of hammers. i need to learn to use the skinny pedal again. i was using some super bald AT's before lol. just got the truck setup a few weeks ago day before KOH with maxtracs, dirt king heim UCAs, Fox 2.5 rr dsc rears,all pro expo springs

 

I skimmed through this and found it useful. I got turned on to these tires after watching "Expedition Overland S2". Just wondering if they are a noisy tire? I currently have cooper att2 and they are noisy. I'm stuck between the red letters and stt max. Opinions?

 

They arent that loud. I have only had them for a few hundred miles though.

 

Nice I'm just looking for a happy median. Between performance off-road and drive ability.

 

I mean if you are going to drive them on the street a lot I'm sure there are better tires for that. I dont mind them but i have a xhevy cruz for long trips or whatever. Probably the St maxx seems to be the best of both worlds.

 

Yeah I have an Acura ILX for our long trips. But the taco definitely driven on the highway everyday for work.

 

Yeah I still would drive everyday it dorsnt ride bad at all. It's just I don't want to spend 1k on tires bc I wore them out on street instead of in the dirt. They wear fine I think 30k can be expected but you might be better off with an at for more durability and longer service life. That's all.
