There are days when I think that I may have liked the Shasta because the overhand would be nice if it's pooring rain while getting into the tent. But honestly, no. I like the bachelor alot. You don't have to duck to get into it, which I like since I'm tall.

I would tell you to get the bachelor and I'd say that with no question.

especially for me with it sitting lower on the bed. If I had a full bedrack, i would maybe do the Shasta.. but I love the Bachelor. easy to set up, easy to get in and out, and the views are the same from both entries (no overhang blocking your view when looking out the ladder side)

So ultimately I want either a trailer or a shell an the tent on top of it if you had these would you rather have that overhang of the Shasta?

first of all.. I wouldnt do that setup personally.. just too tall..

but.. if you really want to.. I would do a Shasta.

 

I feel that. I love your low pro bars if I don't have a shell I would want that. But then again I like Andrews look with the rotopax on the side an whatnot.
Shell/trailer are prob to far down the line to justify a Shasta

 

Still, it was grounds for a divorce IMO.

 

Tempe is challenging the god damn limits of this 4Runner I'm telling you haha. I'm looking into getting a bigger brake master and upgrading to Tundra brakes up front.
