Got a lot of stuff lol
I've torn down two of the generic leds pods to experiment with and I figured I'd share some of the things I've found.

First off Ive had a pair of spots on my truck for about a year.
Ive had them mounted in my lower crash bar and now in front of my grill.

Now for the tear down of the 2 new floods I got. Keep in mind different distributors may have slightly different results. The new pair I got where from a different supplier than my older ones.

The heat sinking of these lights is done rather well with plenty of thermal compound

The board itself is nicely done as well. Please note the bare copper and the solder below it was from me. I can also say that the leds are wired with 2 sets of 3 so top and bottom are separate. This means if one of the leds goes out only that row will be out.

Both sides have a thick rubber gasket

The front is the only part that I have problem with. The front plastic is fine but the silicon tubing they used to seal the front is too short. I've checked my older ones and the silicon on them is fine.

All in all the lights are cheap and work for what they cost but Keep an eye out on the silicon tubing. If its too short I would suggest adding some silicone caulking to make it fully water tight.

Lol fixed and I get mine from eBay they're usually around $25 - 30 for a pair and include a 2-5 year "warranty"

Also here is the covers for the pods which took me some time to find. If you go to the description you can see all the colors they offer
