:brianr: I'll be getting a proper welder soon enough, but even then I need a lot more experience before I try welding spindle gussets.

 Will do. If I get all my ducks in a row I'm thinking it will be a single day ordeal.

That will only work if you start working on my truck at 6:00 AM, and I show up about noon to drink the beer and eat food.

What's the worst that can happen? It's just your spindles. I mean I attacked mine with my cheaper MIG and I'm fine :anonymous:

Let's see: warping the spindles, pulling a @Wishbone Runner and have this happen shortly thereafter:

I'm not convinced I warped them, but they certainly have cracked twice, not proof really one way or the other.

What'd ya get? I've been perusing craigslist keeping an eye out for a deal, but waiting until spring to enlist Leo's help to run power to the garage.

I'm just saying one could warp them. And that 'one' would most likely be me if I tried it.

I'm familiar with the concept... :p

Oh yeah I forgot about Leo set of skills. @Night Eagle I need help. I have Dylan's Hobart. I've been trying to practice but I need a 20AMP beaker because it keeps blowing the 15 Amp that is in the garage.

    So Leo's an electrician?
I need a 220 outlet for the tig. I already have the breaker, it used to run the stove before I switched to gas.

I might, we'll see how the one works. My math has it at 1.3 gallons, and it was able to run the impact enough to break free several lugs.
