I'm pissed, I swear I must have about $2000 worth of paint repair and dings to fix because of numbnuts that dont know how to park let alone open a door!!
I'm debating as to whether or not to Line X the bottom section of my beloved Taco from rear bumper to front bumper so hide most of the dings and provide some added protection from future AHOLES!
I was thinking on getting the Line X color matched.
What do you guys think? (about the Line X not the AHOLES!)
    Thanks

This is very elementary :D:eek:, but I think you get the idea. It would look pretty cool if someone could photoshop it. But, the line x or rhino line will look good.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i'm planning on lining everything from the body line down on the cab and behind the rear tires.

After I saw your build I was wanting to do the same, I think now I can easily justify buying a new wire feed welder.

These pics kinda give you an idea of how far they protect the doors. It would definately give you protection, and a good excuse to buy a new welder.

my side steps help out a little, but so does my heart healthy parking.

color matched line-x would look pretty cool, but I bet it will be expensive.

Unless they're driving a car or SUV that doesn't have squared off doors. The rear doors on a ford expedition for example:

We need bigger parking spaces!! I find the normal parking space inadequate for most trucks and SUV's plus some people just dont give a dam about others property!!!!

I did my truck a few months ago. I'm on gravel roads and brushy fields most of the time.

Yea, I always look for clutch parking spots, either a few spots away from the nearest car or up against a curb.

The only downside is that it draws extra attention to your vehicle for thieves and/or vandals to ruin your day. Luckily, I haven't had anything bad happen yet *Knock on wood*

I had a WTF were they thinking moment a couple days ago.

I ran down to the grocery store early and their were only maybe 6 cars in the lot, when I come out somebody parked a honda accord within 5 inches of my passenger side, they were so close their is no way in hell they were able to get out of the drivers door cause I couldn't even squeeze between and I had to back the truck up to look if they had hit my door and not a mark on it.

No other cars were even within 5 spots of my truck so I drove off wondering why somebody would park where they had to climb out the passenger side

this is a really old thread...

does anyone have pics of an 05+ with linex on the lower portion of the doors?

a buddy of mine has it done on his 04 Tacoma and it looks really nice and does a great job deterring beating the hell out of the lower doors with debris off road

    Thanks

    Justin
