@JeffRoyJenkins @James Lee I asked him about sliders before and he said $60/hr and probably less than 2 hours to get them zipped on.

Would you feel differently about it if we did something off of I90? I'm all by myself, so not hard to change the plans

I'd stay away from Darrington area. Warm weather = avalanches and mud slides, thats one of the most prone areas in Washington for land slides. We gotta take a trip to the land slide @Greddy and I found last year this summer, Bigger than the Oso one but hardly any one knows about this one

I didn't try the ratchet strap thing. I bought these spring compressors and found that the claws wouldn't fit in between the thick coils so I grounded them down to fit. They work for making coilover adjustments but I wouldn't try to replace springs with them.

I've done the ratchet strap method before but that was for an Acura my buddy was lowering, not putting 700lb springs on.

I tried a setup like @JDAM had and like he said, it wouldn't fit between the body of the strut and the coil.

My buddy had one that had little rings instead of hooks that worked really well, but I have never been able to find those.

Last time I did mine I just took them to TorFab where they have a Branick wall mounted compressor. Makes quick, easy work of it. I imagine if you go up there for work ever you could arrange to have them done while you waited.

Heh, I'll be driving by torfab in an hour or so, but don't have them with me. :(

@northwesttaco seems to have quite the report with Mule. Maybe he could get them done there for a good price.

At $125 an hour since I didn't get the springs through them , I'd rather do it myself.
