    Good day all

Recently bought a '12 FJ and I've got two dogs that are working on tearing up the interior plastic under the windows. Has anyone had some experience with Plasti Dip and whether it would help prevent scratches inside the car?

    Many thanks!

Well thanks for your help! If anyone else knows a good solution to protecting the interior from dog scratches?

I have always wanted dog boots but I don't think my dog would care for them.

    Oh well.

I have the product I linked but really don't use them anymore. They have a stiffish plastic card (3 of them) that slip into the window channel and hold the covers in place.

Rolling up the windows can make them lift and fall out, the cards are 3-4" long, and if you stuff them into the channel without a little care and bend them then sometimes they can be a little harder to install. Other than that, not bad.

    I got them at Amazon.

Would be really easy to make at home for probably $5 and some effort.

It's just a Cordura type fabric with some plastic cards sewn into the seam. Simple barrier between nails and door panel, it isn't padded or anything.

    Really a basic concept.
