    Hey guys,

Looking to fix up a john Deere gator (think it's a rsx) for a family member. Needed a little project and this UTV has a damaged front end. Looks as if the lower ball joint sheared off and perhaps have bent control arms and spindle (from a quick visual inspection. Will be bringing it to my shop to tare everything down. Will post pics when I can.

Issue is I am finding it difficult sourcing parts other then at the john Deere dealership which is going to be pricey. Does anyone have any good sources for parts that they could share.

    Any info would be appreciated!

Well I ended up getting the project done. Although I found royal distribution a good source for stuff, they did not have much of anything for my gator.

Anyways here are some pics for anyone
The passenger side lower ball joint broke, causing the shock, and cv axle to bust. That let the wheel move breaking the fender and the bumper bent as well.

image.jpgBumper straightened and square tube gussets added image.jpg
My welds are ugly I know, still learning

Suspension all back together and roof lights added (they were just thrown together in this pic as I hadn't welded tabs to zip tie to.

And loaded on the trailer ready to go back to the farm.

Parts included new fender, rim, CB axle, ball joint, tires, passenger side shock, and some other miscalanous stuff. Still need a wiper motor and some other surf but she works and is more appealing now.

This may help someone it may not.

Absolutely. Was a fun project, where I got to learn a few things that I wouldn't want to try for the first time on my truck
