It never before occurred to me that LEO's were subject to this kind of revenge. I figured that even the stupidest among us would not seek to vandalize LEO's. Of course, this isn't the first time I've under-estimated the stupidity of some people.

I'm glad that you're feeling better about things. Please know that the less stupid among us appreciate what you do for the public.

Well, after calling Toyota and some aftermarket shops.... they recommended this. $230 is an expensive way to fix this, but I want a $36k truck the way it suppose to drive... even if it is only 2.2mph! I have to think on it for a bit, but I may end up buying this thing and putting it up for sale on TW.

You will need a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the lenses on the dome and map lights. For the license plate lights it might be kind of difficult if you have large hands and a tow package. Twist counterclockwise on the harness and pull out. Before you put any of the lenses or plate lights back on turn on the lights. If they don't come on just flip the bulb accordingly. I'm really shitty at explaining lol I wish I had taken a video to do a tutorial but if you do a YouTube search there are some helpful tips

    Hey,

Keep in mind that the speedo and odometer are not certified to be correct. Depending on the truck it may be off by that much already in either direction. Some people have said that increasing tire size has actually made their speedo correct.

Ordered my @customcargrills Thursday and got it today! The quality of the grille is perfect and fitment was great. Also ordered the TRD emblems from Amazon. It came with a sticker back emblem and a actual grille emblem that has bolts behind it. I was too chicken to put the actual grille emblem on as I'd have to drill some holes in the grille so sticker for now until I decide I like the spot that I stole from someone else on here. Also had a local body shop spray the bezel when they were doing another black Toyota. Very very happy with the way it turned out!

I got scared and didn't want to break anything lol I spent a good hour getting the lights out.. I tried every thing that was suggested but ended up getting them with a pick tool.

Well damn... I'll have to sleep on it and make a decision. I'm definitely going with a bigger tire, so it's a matter of if I want the speedo and odo to be perfect.

Thanks for the heads up though!
