FWIW, the hook that comes with this winch is huge. It's bigger than the ones that used to come with them, but still the same grade.

 

Anyone here work the DuPont schedule? Thoughts, hate it or love it?

Don't know yet, the guy I talked to couldn't remember the whole schedule but he said it started with 4 days on then 7 off then 3 nights etc

 

thats what i have puts you working half a month and off the other half. its not bad been doing it for almost 10 yrs. mine is 4 days, 7 off, 4 nights, 3 off, 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 3 off, then start all over again.

 

also when you take vacation take it on your 4 days that way you are protected (no call out) and gives you almost 2 weeks off

 

That's what they work here at the plant as well. They all seem to like it.

 

Get paid bi monthly? And have a 'big check' and 'little check' is what the guy said with how the hours break down on the checks

 

This is what I got but paid 300 at 4wheelparts at a sale. Almost got synthetic but I never liked the way they wind up and puts too much stress on the roller.
