600# springs on my non-resi Fox's are bowing so bad that they're rubbing the shock body. These 700#'s will hopefully help- so I can finally put the damn Relentless skids on. Fox's used to have blue springs, right?

I have complained about my ABS being too sensitive before yet now I have learned a valuable lesson.

ABS saved my butt yesterday. Gave a quick glance back to my son in his car seat. Looked forward to see stopped traffic directly in front of me. 35 mph stomp break pedal, ABS pulsing away, 33s chirping hard with brake pulse, and managed to JUST steer the truck around their passenger side. Heart pumping, thankful not to have bought the farm...

Lesson learned - ABS still sucks. Watch the road, dumbass :smack:

Yikes. That is all it takes. A second. But I love how people rag on me when they take pictures with their phone when driving and I call them out on it. Clueless.

Glad you and your kiddo got through that event without incident.

    Thanks man, I'm glad too!

It definitely only takes a second... (That's shat she said). Screw all this new brake assist technology. Watch the road...

I hate when this happens. But ABS did help keep you in control. Without it the out come may have been worse. Or not it is hard to say how anyone would react to a sliding out of control situation. I've been there as well and ended up on top of a curb or facing the wrong way after a hard brake pump. But I to think that mine is more sensitive then it should be. I recently put powerstop slotted rotors and extreme duty pads on the front and have seen a little bit of improvement in hard breaking. I'm glad you and your son are OK.

Def a bit happier than I was to have ABS, even though I shouldn't have needed it. I switched to ebc pads and rotors which helped too

Would anyone be interested in an 05+ armortech high clearance rear bumber. Armortech trimmed it 1 1/2 inches on the wings so it fits better with trimmed flares. Shoot me a PM if you're interested

That sucks. Pismo will do it. The shocks on my old truck would always rust When I was in the quad riding era of my life and would do 10-15 pismo runs a year. I would buy gallons of wd-40 and spray my entire undercarriage before and after every trip. It helped a lot.

I'm sure Pismo added to it but they had some
buildup when I bought them and Kelvin asked me if I wanted him to rebuild them before I took ownership. But I'm impatient as fuck and I never sanded nor turned the lower cup around so it's partially my fault.
