One of the first dual row light bars I've seen in this camera angle.

    1. What light bar is it?
    2. How did you mount it?
    3. How far above the cross bars does it stick up?
    Thanks!

It's a super cheap light off Amazon. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it so for $75 at that time, I wouldn't be heart broken if it failed in a year. Looks like the price has gone up a little.

Excellent- I plan on buying a super cheap Amazon light bar myself to start. Anything cheap is dual row and I wanted to still be able to put a kayak up there. I think it'll be fine. I'm assuming those are the mounting brackets that came wtih the light bar as pictured on the amazon page. They look like a perfect fit around that crossbar.

I need to replace the hardware that's rusting.

The top of the light bar is about an inch above the cross bars.

I have plans to make a bracket that will connect the front crossbar and the bar behind the wind deflector. Hopefully that will drop the light bar a little more than the cheap cast brackets that came with it.

I used some of the threaded inserts to attach zip ties to hold the cable up and then ran it down the side of the windshield.

I did mill the channel of the bracket a little deeper to really grab the cross bars. The channel that came will fit the cross bars, just not as nice.

I need some advice from any body that is running a topper rack. I was wondering what rails you were running on your topper. Also if you put rails on your self. How hard was it to get the measurements for the rails.

The topper that I am running is an ARE cx.

I would recommend to everyone that is going to install there's to use the punches (they are below in the "Products Discussed in this Thread" feature. Only $12 on Amazon. The 3/4 punch, a hammer, and a piece of wood to lay it on is all you need. Super clean install. Back that up with a little black silicon for water proofing and the thing is perfect.

That's for installing the topper rack right? Do holes need to be drilled for that? If so I may do that for drilling my holes since I'm a first gen and drilling holes are required

That's for the cabrac (over roof of truck). For drilling holes, ask @zscott or check out the install thread he did on one of the first gens. I have the second gen doublecab with the holes pre-drilled from the factory. The only thing I wish I would have done was paint the spacers black, but you really can't see them.

Yeah he told me what to do along with the directions, but I thought you were talking about his camper top, so I figured I'd ask for tips. Didn't even think to paint the spacers black, may have to do that Friday!
