    So here's the story:

Recently I have been hearing the rattle coming from the front end of my truck. It only occurs when I am at a complete stop and change from either reverse or drive. It rattles for a second or two after letting off the brake, then apply some gas, then disappears. In the video I have provided(please excuse my sisters bright colors lol) the brake is applied and geared to reverse as my sister turns the wheel. I looked all around the steering rack and I do not see anything it can rattle against. Has anyone experienced or experiencing this? The truck drives perfectly fine, no steering problems except this annoying rattle which can be heard from the outside. Any input is much appreciated!

Also, unfortunately I am up on my warranty so I cannot go to the dealership and expect them to fix this for free.

I can't watch the video but @Moose1988 and others had a loose column, fixed by inserting some zip ties IIRC.

    Maybe a similar issue?

My bad bro. Not a problem with the video.

I'm just in bed and my 5 month old is sleeping next to me, and I'm afraid to move and get my headphones.

and as far as the fix they did I don't think that's the source. I had to get under my truck and try to pinpoint where its coming from. at first it was the catalytic converter rattle people were experiencing but it wasnt. it only rattles when I'm turning but with a little gas applied it disappears. the steering doesn't feel loose whatsoever. thank you for the input though

So update on the situation. Due to my platinum warranty I sent my truck in to Toyota.

First visit: I sent it in and said it was my skid plate rattling against my frame so they applied a seal/padding. Didn't work.

Second visit: said my truck was throwing a code. Updated my software and they said it was gone.

Unfortunately the rattling is still occurring. Gonna be contacting Toyota tomorrow morning to tell them.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I'm not fully following on why you think it is steering related... Sounds like something is loose.
