Is there a TRD supercharger and cold air intake available for 2015 tacomas?? Ive been doing some research and only find them up to 2011... Ive found more recent ones for Tundras, FJs, and 4Rs but don't know if any one of these are compatible w/Tacos. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Admittedly I do not pay much attention to CAIs, as I don't see much value. I believe there were 2 TRD CAIs for the 4.0 Tacoma, and older design and newer one. I recall the older one being better than the newer model, but do not recall the specifics. Without the supercharger, you are just going to get noise and a couple hp near redline that will be unnoticeable in daily driving. Not worth the money.

You'll have to track down a supercharger, and the current TRD CAI is worthless. The AFE CAI's are pretty good. Without an SC, youll get some extra noise and maybe a hair of HP. With forced induction you get alot more gains.

Some dealerships still have the TRD supercharger. They are trying to sell the rest of them off. As for a cold air intake i highly recommend the K&N aluminized steel cold air intake. Sounds amazing and you can feel a difference. Definitely worth the money and they come with a million mile warranty. Couldn't be happier with the system. I installed it in 2 hours with basic tools. They are on Amazon for around $300 or a cheaper plastic model for $250. But once again a lot of dealerships still have the superchargers for sale. Im about to install one in mine before they all go.

    Welcome to TW.

Your info regarding the superchargers is way off. People have hunted for them for a very long time and been unsuccessful. Dealers will say they have them in stock to take your order when in fact they do not and cannot get them. Even if you do find a supercharger, you still need the fit kit. Which is like trying to find a unicorn on the dark side of a moon, off of pluto while wearing a blindfold. Your best bet now is to order one of the Magnuson units.

Here is the thread to track down and locate all known superchargers and fit kits:

Thank you, they said they had superchargers but i never asked about the fit kit. I'll look into the Magnuson units!

Funny. That link is dead. Are they pulling the plug on the Magnuson 4.0 blowers now? I would like to see whst kind of tuner they are going to be utilizing. I'd like to pick one up for my truck instead of using this filthy rich stock tune.

Don't have gauges yet, but was thinking 2.85 pulley, plus CAI (both known to lean) plus maybe URD crossover plus catback to see what the numbers would come out to be. Will take me a while to get there though as sliders need to come first.

how many HP on the wheel had TRD supercharger? i didn't find where is 304hp came from, engine or wheel
Because Magnuson shows around 290hp on the wheel (with 5.3 boost)

Losses are closer to something between 15 and 20 %. On a 4WD i think the OEM 236 hp has been dynoed at 191 WHP. So on a 4WD parasistic losses trough AT, TC and differential is close to 20%.
