Hey Marc... You ever mount that LED on the Back Rack? Pics?

 

Hi Dan,

Nope, it's BNIB. I haven't drilled the necessary holes in my BackRack to mount it.

The pic in OP shows me holding it in place under the BackRack. I had the company make it with two end caps without bracket holes, and place two adjustable mounts under the bar. The mounts can slide left to right and the angle can be adjusted as well. It fits perfect in the space provided for clearance of the third brake light on the BackRack, and for legal purposes, does not hide the brake light because of how the BackRack is lifted 2" on the adapters.

If you remember, I posted my BackRack set-up in your build thread. It is (was) the exact same as yours. I've gone to a cap, so I'm going to stick with flush mount back up LED pods in the bumper (when I get to installing them, LOL).

PM if you want me to tape the bar in place and show you the end result (sort of). My BackRack is on the floor in the garage.

Hey Marc, that TRD OR hook is that an OEM piece? I have a wimpy little "hook" on the front, does it go in place of that? Or is it only for the OR tacomas? (I have a sport)

It's an OEM piece from the Off Road model that replaces the hook on the Sport. It bolts right in (mounting points are the same) and is very stout.
