Depends on what you are willing to spend and your needs. I like my Body Armor bumper and was relatively inexpensive.

I like that, looks beefy. How does the hitch attach to it?
Most of my driving is on the highway. Not needing an off-road specific type of bumper.

a trailer hitch should always mount to the frame rails.

According to their literature, it's the factory hitch. Uses the original mounts.

Agreed. Just looking at Rob's and comparing to what I have now, the hitch is mounted to the frame and is also bolted to the bumper. Wasn't sure if the bumper bolts got reused on his bumper.

    ok i gotcha now.

mine isn't like that. hitch just is frame mounted only.
might be why i almost lost my rear bumper jumping a railroad crossing. i found out the bolts had been loose for a while.

Sorry, I didn't respond to the question. Was at the indoor range shooting some guns. Two hitch is factory. Body Armor bumper bolts up pretty easy. Was able to do it myself. It took longer to get the factory bumper off. The Body Armor bumper is pretty hefty and weighs about a hundred pounds. I recently added the tire swing carrier with rotopax mount also.

I like that bumper! Are license plate lights required in Cali? If so, how do you plan on doing that? Where did you put the towing electrical receptacle? Nvm, just saw it in the pics

California does require license plate lights. You can pick up some LED plate light for pretty cheap. Easy to install. I just spliced them in to the factory plate lights.

I like it... Came with a nice chip on the top corner on the driver's side. Will contact the mfr to see about repairing it myself. I wish it had the option to mount the trailer connector. No matter, I have a hole saw. :D
Nice hole in the stock bumper. Don't think that would have passed inspection come July.

Don't laugh at the tyraps... They're holding the soon to be relocated back up cam.
