Bingo. I products were/are great and I have definitely put them through their paces (especially the 30" LED bar). Just rinsed it off with warm water and all the dirt washed away..cleaned up so good I didn't want to sell it to be honest.

But after he was unreachable to his customers interested in the product, and the lack of communication and hand off to another rep, I was over it.

I still think I'm one of the only people he really told what was going on at the time.

Taper towards spacer. There's a tapered seat in the counterbore which accepts the taper on the lugnut

 

Factory lugs do not have a taper that seats. They have integral washers built in to the lugnut, and the wheel is hub-centric not lug-centric. Typically lug-centric wheels use acorn style lugnuts.

 

They might physically have a taper on the end, but the lugnuts each fit in a machined bore and the washered shoulder of the stock lug it what bears the load developed in the fastener.
