Squeaky Dakar spring help

    I am going to have to pull things apart to install axle shims soon. While I have it apart I want to eliminate as much of the squeak as I can. I'm already using the zip tie method with them and it's helped a bunch, but I seem to recall others were lining the Dakars with rubber or doing something additional with them when they were off the truck to help further. I've searched and can't seem to find the thread for some reason. Can someone point me in the right direction? I know the info is here somewhere. Thx

    Found it, thank you. Going to do full length spring liners while I have it apart.

    Things with metal, dog hair, more metal and lights
    All you need to do is get the rubber pond liner (or something like that) put a piece between the longest leaf and the next one up. you can wither take apart the pack to do it or use a good prybar to open them up enough.
