    Hello.

New to posting, but have been nosing around for about 6 months now.

To day I placed an order for what I think is everything I need to do a basic/advanced rework of my 2015 tancoma stereo.

    Sound Ordnance B-8PTD
    Sound Ordnance™ M-4050
Sound Ordnance™ P-67C( front and rear)
Metra 71-035LC Speaker Wiring Harnesses (front and rear)
    Scosche SAT69 Speaker Mounting Brackets
    Metra 82-8148 Speaker Mounting Brackets
    Scosche SLC4 Line Output Converter
EFX PA10BX Wiring Kit (one for amp and one for sub)
    Arista 16-Gauge Speaker Wire

I am at a loss as for a wiring harness so I don't have to cut factory wires. My goal is to upgrade with out any modification to factory wiring. I hope my order will come this week so I can start installing next weekend. If anyone can give me part numbers or links for a wiring harness that would be great.

I will update as I install. I didn't find a lot of info on system upgrades less then major advancement . All I want is better sound and not having to have the volume at 40 just to hear over road noise.

I looked at the "best kits" and I could only find the BHA 1761. The ones I found should arrive by Friday and the total for both and shipping was only 23$ canadian.

how do those work, I plug them into each other and then how and where do I connect them to my stock 2016 Tacoma Entune HU (Non JBL) i have to cut into the wiring somewhere and get this in correct? I have no clue what I am doing.

Sounds like you should go visit the car audio shop, if you keep saying "I have no clue what I am doing."
And this thread is titled "2015" audio upgrade.

and pay thousands, no chance, I know a little about what I am doing maybe I should be clear I have never hooked up a system to a stock HU only aftermarket. Also, 2015 entune HU apparently is quite similar to the 2016 so that is why I am searching high and low for answers.

I searched high and low also and once i had all the parts it made sense. I just posted a long thread on doing the entire truck sound system. You're basically disconnecting the factory wiring from the HU... Your male harness/s plug into the deck then run to your amp. Your amp runs back to the female harness/s (reverse wiring) that plug into the factory wiring spine that feeds the speakers.

Wire the ends together and plug into the radio and the old harness. Just adding wire so I don't cut factory wires.

none of the harness plug into the back of the 2016 Entune stock Non JBL HU.

right i have established that clearly. what I was looking for was perhaps someone on this forum somewhere would either have a work around or a solution for a different harness.

Dude, you just posted "Also, 2015 entune HU apparently is quite similar to the 2016"
so maybe you should start a thread for a 3rd gen 2016 and ask if anyone knows which harness/s are required.

Right they are similar but that doesnt mean identical, maybe you need to crack open a beer or something and chill out with the intense criticism just cuz someone isnt wording things exactly how you would like them worded so that you understand them. I dont believe searching in a 2015 thread for answers to a 2016 is a such a bad idea in fact much answers for the 2016 have been found this way. Lighten up homeboy.

Anyone have any input on the hardware I selected ? I know is not "high end" gear. Anyone used any of it in there install ? Any heads up notes to watch out for ?

Just an aftermarket radio properly tuned will make a world of difference using stock speakers. As for a sub thats when it gets more costly
