I had an old silvertone acoustic my father-in-law gave me (like a late 60's early 70's from what I gather, but he got in as a more or less inheritance and he has absolutely zero musicality to him so he gave it to me) the tuning knobs had disintegrated so I ordered some new ones and sanded and stained it and put everything back together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHnuSCvpk8k
