LED lights

Just before someone says something, I've looked around and I'm not very good at using the search tool to find threads.

On to the thread,

I'm looking at LED headlights now because I'm realizing HID's suck. Too many problems with bulbs going out and harnesses going to crap. So what's the best LED bulb I can get my hands on?

I want pure white and bright as could be.

 

what HID bulbs have you been using? I imagine if you're using cheap parts then the quality will be lacking.
Check out the retrofit source, they have the best quality HID components, been using their stuff for years and never had an issue!

 

Well I hear LED's work better in a stock housings. They don't scatter as much.

I know, I'm on there. Those turned out to be trash. Looking for some high quality ones.

 

Well if youre just looking to keep your stock halogen housings and not add projectors, then youre pretty limited
You could always just go with a higher temperature halogen bulb 4500k is pure white

 

HID in stock housings is a no-no.

 

Usually, but I got lucky. They don't shine up in my housing. The housing does mess up ow much light is useful though.

 

These are the only real good option for LEDs in the halogen housing.
