Hi there. It has been a while! I wish I had some kickass news to share, like I won the lottery, have a heard of tacos, etc. etc. Sadly, my baby was destroyed this last weekend. Many of you have helped me get this truck to where it was, and I only thought appropriate to share. This truck was my pride and joy. Now I have to wait to see what will happen, and how badly they will screw me when it comes to replacing it. I have never had to deal with this before, and id appreciate any info, tips, good juju, black magic whatever you can send in this general direction.

Will I be able to remove anything? Do I try to find stock parts to swap out my aftermarket? 1934063_10154714802957846_2244877004829702214_n.jpg 1010312_10154714803122846_9009630144091068356_n.jpg 1934537_10154714803167846_8890488236139958620_n.jpg everything from the cell phone 070.jpg

    Too few to list.
From what I know, you'll be able to take stuff that did not originally came with the truck so basically anything aftermarket. So you can take off your wheels and tires, etc if you replace with stock.

That sucks, glad you're ok. It's been crazy on the roads lately.

Do what you can to maintain control of the truck. The insurance is going to want a complete rolling vehicle (well, the missing RF can be left as is).

Ive got some burns from the bag, sore as hell, but overall more worried about the truck. After loosing the passenger side tire, (after jumping the Acura) i skidded for half a block but managed to keep it from hitting anything or anyone else. The passengers of the other vehicle wernt transported so I guess they were ok. I keep trying to look on the bright side. But its hard to see when you see your rig sitting in a yard.

    Oh no, Mendy :(:(:(

Insurance is going to be your best friend. If the other driver was at fault, pray that they have good insurance and you can get fair value for your truck. You kept it in meticulous condition, so you should get top value for it. As long as you're ok, everything can be replaced.

Thanks Adam. They cited him for failure to yield, i had numerous witnesses stop, including an offduty sheriff, but I worry about the insurance. They have progressive, and i havent heard too many good things.

Depending on your coverage/company; I've seen numerous recommendations elsewhere to use and involve your insurance company. You are their customer. You and not a Progressive customer, so they don't care about you.

Ryan makes a good point here. Sometimes it's best, if your insurance is much better, to just pay your deductible and use your own up front. Then, let them chase Progressive to recoup the expenses, and you can even get your deductible back later down the road. Check into whether or not you'll get a rate hike by filing a claim or not, being that it's not your fault.
