It's your money and your truck. If you plan to keep it forever, then go for it.

However, if you plan to sell it down the road you'd better consider the resale value and audience. I think you will shrink the audience with those mods.

Wasn't there a thread where someone found a truck with that kit on it at a dealer? They posted it and someone from the dealer ended up getting up here after many people started reaching out to them about it.

I tried to find the thread but I don't believe I ever replied in it. Just sort of lurked around for a while reading the responses to the sales person. Ran a search for fender flares but that's pretty generic. Can't remember what the title said. I'm sure it was something about a specific location. Oh well, I like my Sport skewp

Well if you really think there isn't enough cheap plastic on the inside the truck...by all means.

    My thoughts:

#1: That hood only belongs there if its to make room for a supercharger with clearance issues. Even at that, it should be a fully integrated hood. With the seams, it looks like a slap on special from Autozone. (I guess all of us Sport guys have no place to hate on it, considering our fake scoop lol)

#2: The tailgate is awful... almost like a situation where they decided to do something there just because they could. Same issue with the bottom of the doors.

#3: The fender flares are so massive they look like they came off a Chevy Reaper...and thats not a good thing.

Overall, it has potential but looks poorly thought out and slapped together.

I would think if you like the flares on the SEMA truck, go to the website of the company that displayed it, and start searching there. More then likely one-offs for the show, but you never know...
